Bellamar Cave
Is located at the exit of Matanzas city, is considered to be one of the wonders of Cuban geography. Famous for its karstic crystals, stalactites and stalagmites. Bellamar Cave was discover by coincidence in 1861. Explored area of the cave is 3 km long, while its deepest part descends to 48 meters. Indigenous people dwelling there. Large paintings and numerous fossils have been found here. Distance 65 km to the west of Varadero.
